Mrs. Patty Wilson

 

Patty Baldo Wilson was born and raised in Cordoba, Veracruz, Mexico. She graduated from the University of Las Americas in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico with a B.S. degree in Economics and a M.S. degree in Industrial Psychology. She moved to Houston, TX in 1986 and married Tom Wilson. They have two children, a daughter Natalie and a son Tommy.

While living in Mexico, Patty worked as a Loan Officer for a Mexican Bank and after moving to Houston, worked as an Office Manager for a Coffee Broker. In 1991 she became a stay home mother, and in 1995 Tom and Patty created Optima Mortgage Corporation where she currently works.

Patty was a volunteer at the Texas Children Miracle Network for several years. She also created a Spanish program for Bear Branch Elementary School to help children understand the importance of a second language. Additionally, she volunteered at the NCL National Charity League for six years and aided in the creation of the first Blue Star Moms Chapter in Houston.

Patty was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May 2012, and after this event feels that her mission in life is to assist other people that have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
