Anthony Williams currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel for an international oil and gas service company that is 5 billion in annual revenues, and has over 28,000 employees worldwide. In this capacity Anthony has responsibility for managing the world-wide legal affairs of the company, including but not limited to: (1) establishing ongoing strategic plans necessary to align legal requirements with overall business objectives; (2) assisting executive management in the development and execution of legally viable tactical plans and measures; and (3) developing strategic plans within the Legal Department relative to risk management and risk mitigation, negotiation, litigation, customer relations, employee resources, and operations support.
Previously, Anthony acted as Vice President and Division Counsel for another international oil and gas service company (300 million in annual revenue and over 2,500 employees worldwide), until it was purchased by his current employer. Immediately after law school, Anthony spent the first 5 years of his legal career with Shell Oil Company.
Anthony Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University, a Juris Doctorate degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, a Certificate in Management from the University of Virginia (Darden School of Business), and is also a licensed and ordained pastor. Anthony and his wife DaRhonda have been married twelve years and have two children.
